Gojaznost nije samo estetski izazov, ve\u0107 je povezana s brojnim hroni\u010dnim bolestima poput dijabetesa tipa 2, hipertenzije i kardiovaskularnih oboljenja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Globalne statistike o gojaznosti<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prema podacima Svetske zdravstvene organizacije, 39% odraslih ljudi u svetu ima vi\u0161ak kilograma ili je gojazno. U Sjedinjenim Ameri\u010dkim Dr\u017eavama, \u010dak 68% stanovni\u0161tva spada u ove kategorije. Zabrinjavaju\u0107e je \u0161to nije bilo smanjenja stope gojaznosti izme\u0111u 1975. i 2016. godine ni u jednoj zemlji*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stanje u Srbiji<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Situacija u Srbiji je tako\u0111e alarmantna. Vi\u0161e od 50% gra\u0111ana \u017eivi sa prekomernom telesnom masom, dok vi\u0161e od 20% populacije pati od gojaznosti. Posebno zabrinjava rastu\u0107a stopa gojaznosti kod dece; prema poslednjim podacima, svako tre\u0107e dete u Srbiji je gojazno**.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u0160ta izaziva prekomernu telesnu masu i gojaznost?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prekomerna telesna masa i gojaznost nastaju kao posledica neravnote\u017ee izme\u0111u unosa i potro\u0161nje kalorija \u2013 odnosno, kada unos kalorija kroz hranu i pi\u0107e zna\u010dajno nadma\u0161uje kalorijsku potro\u0161nju kroz fizi\u010dku aktivnost i metaboli\u010dke procese. Glavni faktori koji doprinose ovom stanju uklju\u010duju nezdravu ishranu bogatu rafinisanim \u0161e\u0107erima, zasi\u0107enim mastima i prera\u0111enom hranom, fizi\u010dku neaktivnost usled sedentarnog na\u010dina \u017eivota, genetsku predispoziciju, hormonske poreme\u0107aje, stres i nedostatak sna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Gojaznost mo\u017ee dovesti do ozbiljnih zdravstvenih komplikacija, uklju\u010duju\u0107i pove\u0107an rizik od dijabetesa tipa 2, visokog krvnog pritiska, sr\u010danih bolesti, mo\u017edanog udara, problema sa zglobovima i ki\u010dmom, hormonalnih disbalansa, neplodnosti, kao i mentalnih problema poput anksioznosti i depresije. Tako\u0111e, dugoro\u010dna gojaznost mo\u017ee skratiti \u017eivotni vek i smanjiti kvalitet \u017eivota, ograni\u010davaju\u0107i svakodnevne aktivnosti i pove\u0107avaju\u0107i ose\u0107aj umora i iscrpljenosti.
